There are two recommended methods to power your SmartClock.
- Use the supplied AC power adapter and plug in to a working nearby outlet.
- Power over Ethernet - Each clock is shipped with a single line PoE injector.

The clocks require 25W STATIC for each device. If your PoE switch is not capable of providing that Static 25W, we do highly recommend using the provided single line PoE injector on each device to ensure consistent and adequate power for full functionality. If there would be an issue that we need to troubleshoot and the AC power adapter or supplied single line PoE injector is not being used we will need that in place to continue to troubleshoot.
Examples of signs that the clock is not getting adequate power...
- The device does not fully boot
- Continues to reboot
- Automatic Recovery Screen
